Role Overview
Reporting to the National Manager, Specialty & Rare Disease, this position is responsible for promoting CUVPOSA across Ontario and the Atlantic provinces. This role combines strategic territory management with relationship-building among specialists, hospital stakeholders, and key opinion leaders. The successful candidate will support national marketing initiatives, contribute to educational programming, and collaborate cross-functionally to drive access and growth. A strong understanding of therapeutic areas and clinical data, paired with clear communication and compliance, is essential to achieving commercial success in this dynamic role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Actively promoting CUVPOSA sales in Ontario and Atlantic regions (NS, NL, NB, PEI) to HCPs
  • Collaborating with National Specialty Manager in national conferences or any other important event/tactics
  • Achieve territory sales objectives through the management of external (Specialists, retail/hospital pharmacy) and internal (marketing/finance/sales) stakeholders
  • Navigate easily in hospital setting with a key account approach with the different stakeholders/departments; physiatrists, neurologists, ENTs, pediatricians, respirologists, pharmacy, nursing care.
  • Maintain thorough understanding of relevant clinical information to discuss with KOL’s and excellent understanding of therapeutic areas to discuss and differentiate benefits for Healthcare Professionals and patients
  • Deliver the marketing message consistently in a variety of settings using clear and concise communication to designated customers
  • Identify new business opportunities and seek competitive market intelligence to maximize growth
  • Work with key stakeholders/consultants to assure good market access to the product  
  • Develop speakers, Key Opinion Leaders and work with Teaching Hospitals Medical staff
  • Completion of administrative duties. (Managing budget, expense reporting, call reporting, updating target lists, institution profiles)
  • Ensure strict compliance with industry regulations, ethical standards, and company policies in all related activities.

Education, Experience and Key Skills
  • University degree in sciences and 5+ years’ experience in pharmaceutical hospital sales, with a key management approach.
  • Strong Medical knowledge abilities.
  • Proven understanding of the reimbursement system for Specialty Care products.
  • Possesses strong business acumen, territory management, and strategic thinking skills.
  • Experience working with ENT specialists and pediatricians (asset)
  • Ability to travel as required to manage assigned territory and to attend regional/national meetings and conferences.
  • Thorough understanding of hospital processes for new drugs.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. 

Additional Information
Travel: up to 50%
Location: Remote; Ontario territory
Compensation: C$ 85,000-115,000 salary range & Incentive Compensation Bonus Plan

Compensation

$85,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
